Here's something different. I used the new updated Artstudio. I might start doing more drawing like this because it looks pretty awesome in my opinion and it a lot quicker than what I usually do. This is just WIP.

Quick sketch done while in the bathroom (yeah). No references (references are what make my art magical).

Yeah drawing on paper is way easier than drawing on my ipad imo.

Also lemurs are awesome.

Here's a contour drawing I just did for my drawing class. Not sure if completely finished. Basically random stuff from my room.

Damn, wish I noticed this earlier, but Batman's elbow is rather sharp and jagged, it should be smoothed out and more rounded.

Yeah it is, I'll fix that. I'm thinking about adding rain and maybe buildings in the background. Or maybe thunderclouds and some lightning.

Also thinking about adding some wear and tear to their suits like what happens in Arkham City.

Homework assignment for drawing class. It's a small section of my contour drawing blown up and shaded. This is the first time I've used charcoal.

First of five sketches I'm going to do to prepare for an abstraction drawing project. I'm pretty excited about how all this stuff may turn out.

I had a little square picture of a mountain and basically just extrapolated from it. I'll be doing some similar things with other pictures.

I'm really proud of this one. Done using charcoal and graphite on paper in two days. It was a project that was due today in class dealing with surrealism. Any critiques or suggestions because I can change a few things before I turn it in on wednesday. I already plan on working more on the planet on the left and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the beam of light.

I think it's looking really good so far. The only thing I would have to add is to really punch those values. I did a little digital editing, so you could see what I was talking about. And as far as the beam of light goes, I think it would look really good if it took on a lightning bolt type of form. Try using white charcoal to get really crisp whites.

Tried drawing Motoko Kusanagi today for the first time. I think the right eye is a bit messed up. I might fix that.

Thanks.

I have become obsessed with Futurama lately. Totally thinking of doing a finished Leela drawing as a drawing class assignment.

Here's a sketch of Leela I did.

Just drew a more realistic version of Leela. This is more my style. Referenced a picture of Leela and a picture of Katey Sagal when she was younger.

I might use this as a lineart for a digital painting.

It looks good man :) But people never get the nose to n weird ot look when they do a cyclops. It always looks like the nosebone is going into the eye.

Well I imagine that the nose would need to sort of end/flatten out before it reaches the eye.

I tried scanning it. Turned out really bright.

Another attempt at drawing Leela. I'm getting there. I referenced a picture of Katey Sagal and some others.

Weird some of your faces look really good like the Skyrim one then others not so much, do you use a reference for the ones that turn out better?

Which ones didn't turn out well? References matter, whether not I finished the piece matters, and whether or not the character is meant to be realistic or cartoony matters. Be more specific.
