Not going to patronise you or anything, just thought I might share this tip: flipping the canvas is a great way to readjust your eye and spot mistakes.

When I said the proportions were messed I meant I made the head too big for the body (noticed after shading), and had to do some resizing. Yeah flipping the image is a good tip, I keep forgetting to do that every once in a while.
