Obviously people are just going to say whichever one is standard in their region.

Having freezing and boiling points at 0 and 100 makes life so much easier.

Celsius, never got the hang of Fahrenheit.

Coming from the UK, where we use a misture of Imperial and Metric I can convert most stuff between Imperial and Metric easy, but I have no idea about Fahrenheit and Celsius

Celsius is so much easier, and so is the whole metric system in general. It makes physics equatinos and things so much simpler just by adding and subtracting zeros to convert between units, multiplying and dividing. It is also linear to the Kelvin scale, which can be helpful.

Kelvin.

I think enough has been said here to put an end to any discussion. Kelvin > all.

Actually, Fahrenheit is standard in my region, but I'd rather use Celsius, because it makes more sense.

Celsius is so much simpler and easier. Rather than having temperatures as fluctuating madly by over 10-40 whatever points over normal days and going into minus when it isn't even that cold. Just have it as a much less drastic sounding one that just keeps around the 20-30s and doesn't go into minus unless things are really fucked up.

Not really. We use Fahrenheit where I live, but Celsius clearly makes much more sense.

Wait what? Celsius goes into the minuses at a higher temperature than Fahrenheit. Celsius is negative when Fahrenheit is still in the 30's.

Kelvin definitely is the superior one due to the logic starting point at absolute zero but as far as the superior for day to day use go, celsius is the one I feel is most usefull due to 0 degrees being at the frezing point of water and 100 degrees at the boiling point.

But still being used to farenheit would make that equal to celsius in terms of usefulness so to put it simply "whatever floats your boat".

Celsius is a better form of measuring temperature as it is more accurate.

So basically:

America: Fahrenheit
Everyone else: Celsius

Celsius is based on the freezing and boiling point of water.

Fahrenheit is based on the freezing point of brine and the temperature of human blood.

I noticed the Fahrenheit people didn't give any argument for their preference.

I guess being familiar with an older system is the only good reason to keep it.

Usually you give some sort of extremely long argument for something. This time I am disappointed.

Judging from what everyone's saying, apparently I should learn to use Celsius. I'm used to Fahrenheit though.
