Anyways this person I know referred me here http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/F ... -Started/1 to start learning, but from what I can tell its just a jumbled mess of random tutorials for flash and different flash programs, This person also told me to get this software http://www.softwaregold.net/cheap-Macro ... 8-Pro.html and I'm not really sure it's that good. Basically I just need some help getting started, I would appreciate if someone could tell me a about a good flash software, and possibly link me to a good very general and basic starting guide to said flash software.
He directed you to the best software to create flash! I use Macromedia flash 8, its an older Flash version but, very powerful. I don't like the newer Adobe Flash softwares because they're buggy in my opinion
by learning flash you will learn how to use it, that wont help you much
you need to learn how to animate which is a completely deifferent thing

he is right, it isn't Flash that makes you good. You can use the most expensive software ever and still not be able to make animations without the practice.
