Motion tweening movie clips

This should be a simple process but my Flash Cs4 has been giving me issues with this.
i made a small movie clip of a Mog Flying. it's a movie clip so it simply repeats itself. Im using a motion tween to guide that animation across the stage.

But after I get about 4/5 differant locations for it im then unable to move it anymore. Even if theres 100 frames after it i just cant select it. The mouse curser over it wont change into the Move icon. I get rotate and resize options but no move. if i go back to the first frame of the tween it all seems fine but when i go over it is not.

If you're using a classic tween, you need to be on a keyframe to make changes. If you're using the new tweeining method, use the motion editor panel for super precise controls.

Im using the motion tween. Right click make motion tween. It is the one that when you move the item it adds a frame and then will fill in the "fill" int he other frames so you dont have to move it every single time. Gives you smooth motion across the screen. it just stops letting me move the item after 4/5 frames. cant select it or anything.

No Im unable to lace anything i bring onto the stage, i drag it out and then im unable to select and move it.

Did you try the motion editor panel? You get crazy control over every little thing there.

No I have not, but i should not have to open an entire menu to control a simple function like dragging an item to another spot once it is put on stage. Im unable to move anything now. All my layers are unlocked and everything. I drag a newly made button onto the stage ( 3 total ) and now I cant move it. Drag a movie clip onto the stage, Now I cant move it. Everything locks into place as soon as it hits the stage.

It's completely random, i have been working on this project just fine and then boom i cant work on it anymore.

Are you locking the objects? (Modify > Arrange > Lock)

I think the key command on a pc is ctrl+2 (maybe) ..did you hit that by mistake at some point?

I doubt it, and now it's having probles importing. Lol god im hating computers right now
