this took 2 days to make, and im pretty happy on how it turned out ......
what do you think??
Looks really nice, only thing I personally would change is the part where he draws on the chalkboard, it feels a little bit too fast.
Just out of curiosity, how many fps?
14 , 12 is too slow ....and 15 is too fast ..... 14 ... is just right
I recommend 24 or 30 fps. You can always animate on twos (1 frame covering 2 frame lengths) and the background would scroll more smooth.
nice, i like it
this is a good opening animation
while its true the writing may be a little too fast it doesnt really shows, its good as is
the only error that i see is that there is an eye on the wall at the end, ill attach a pic so you see what i mean if that wasnt there on purpose for swapping styles or whatever

That looks very cool, can't wait to see the actual episodes, even with that wall eyeball.
yeah, it looks good, the design makes me remember of 90's school shows, the animation seems a little repetitive to me, but it's still good...
:P
I like it! It's very good!
But for an opening cinematic... 3.4 MB is quite large.
Thanks guys for pointing out the error, lol cant believe I missed it haha ..... ok well heres the update on it thanks everyone! :)

I'd agree that the very end feels a little rushed compared to the pacing of the rest of the opening.
Looks like it's going to be a well designed show though! Good luck.
Question: I'm also working on a series, and right now I have all the symbols for 1/2, 3/4 and front of characters. I decided that I'm going to FBF their legs, but as of right now I'm doing their arms in three symbol parts (upper, fore and hand). I'm debating whether or not I should also just FBF the arms.
Are you going the symbol route or are you FBFing the arms and hands? Thanks!
well for mr munn I use FBF for the entire arm/hands, and really I do that cause its easier for me seense his arm is only 2 colors (white/tan) and its just 2 lines a box and a hand movment .... and it works for me ... but it all depends how complex your character is and whats easier for you .... I men if your characters arm has a bunch detail with gizzmos or buttons or bling or whatever I say do the symbol animation but if its just simple like 2 or 3 colors I say do FBF

3/4 walk will be hard to do for the arms with symbols, can be made though
when in doubt just fbf...

Sounds good. The one thing I'm doing that's not necessarily the norm is using dark color borders instead of black, but all the arms are pretty simple and 2-tone, so I'll try it out and see how it goes! Thanks :)
