Oh dude, get shadowrun, it's literally the most competitive FPS ever made, it's on Xbox Live and Windows Vista (linked servers), and it costs five bucks.

It has the Halo 1 pistol with a controllable bloom, teleportation and summoning, and the most amazing maps ever made. No single player though, because they literally spent the entire budget on the multiplayer.

If you're into RPGs, I'd highly recommend Dragon Age 1 or 2. You can get the second for about $30, which perfectly fits your budget.
