Near my house it's almost $2 a gallon. These prices are insane. I think it's worse in California.

I feel very lucky then. Where I live it is only $1.659 a gallon. Thank goodness I live in Texas.

Shut yer whining fagicles. Just think about the poor starving children in Africa, do you hear them whining about petrol, no. Just think yourselves lucky your not starving to death. Oh wait, I forgot, having a car is more important than feeding the worlds hungry.

Fucking hell! $2 a gallon is dirt cheap! An american gallon is roughly equal to 4 litres (or liters, for you americans). That's 50c per litre. That's about 30p. that's almost a third of what we have to pay in england. You should thank Exxon Mobil for bribing GW Bush to not sign the Kyoto Protocol.

They have no use for petrol... we do.

After all, you could be spending this time volunteering for african aid or whatever instead of shunning us.

Yeah but all things are relative, you guys are complaing about your "petrol" being so high, but it has always been that high. Here in the USA this is about a 60% increase lately so that is why those gosh dern yankess are biotching. Then again you crazy kids with your pounds and EU money are crazy anyways with your tiny cars which get great gas mileage, too bad we always have to save your butt in a war, but why is no one saving our ass in Iraq?

Heres an idea, try walking. Not good enough? Take a bike. Live too far from where you're going? Take a train. No trains? Car pool. No office buddies? Get a motorcycle or scooter. Afraid of looking stupid? Forget about it, you already look stupid for complaining about oil when you have all these solutions and more.

Hell you could always get one of those shitty looking hybrid cars, they don't go fast but there are speed limits anyway. You really don't need to plug them in, its like how you car battery normally charges. Theres an alternator and anytime you're moving your charging the battery.

If that ain't good enough go find yourself an electric car that runs on solar power or something...or make one cuase you ovbiously have enough time to complain about it.

Do me a favour? Come here so I can shoot you.

Saving our asses in wars? Bullshit. Read a history book, rather than watch TV.

And why do you lot need saving in Iraq? There are other countries' armies there too. Not in so many numbers, but still there.
Anyhoo, we should never have gone to war.

Actually, us English are getting pretty own3d by the locals in Basra. Some extremist Cleric is encouraging people to kill British soldiers.
Meh, stupid war anyway, just Bush trying to finish what his daddy started...

Yeah dude, that does suck. But in relative terms and about it being $1.50 a couple weeks ago and now its $2 a gallon here in Maryland, I think we're all getting screwed.

My dad's always going on about petrol prices. They are ridiculously high in the UK. We'll have to be driving Smart Cars at this rate. I don't see why the government should keep prices so high for the sake of pacifying a few tree huggers.

In 30 years (or 50)

there will be no oli left

the world wil fall into choas

the world as we know it will end

And from the ashes of war...

I will arise

Controling the world muhHAHAHAHAH

OK, maybe not

but oli will be gone in about 50 years, so prices will only get higher.
So just get a car with solar energy =D

and in holland its even worse thax to all those fucking extra taxes on petrol =(

$2 per gallon?! Don't make me laugh. Here in England, the price of petrol is more like $6.50 per gallon. We pay a little thing called TAX on our juice, unlike you Yanks, who couldn't bear the thought of not being able to afford a trip to the supermarket

Well, it's official. Somewhere in Chelsea, unleaded petrol costs £1 a litre. To all you imperialist pigdogs, that is 6.9365931 of your american dollars, or 9.4505562 of your canadian dollars.
