Hello everyone! I am now going to launch the doubles. I will try my best to live up to Saurus well earned, good name and to make this as fun as enjoying as he made it! I wanted to start the Double with an image of my own but after great misfortune that couldn't happen. Also I do not wish to delay this any longer!

So (copy-paste)

Basically, Doubles is a two person team competition to create a work of art under a theme. You will say in the thread that you want to participate, then teams will be drawn randomly out of a hat.

Deadlines

You have until
Tuesday, the 10th of January at 12PM NG Time to post in the thread to 'register'
Teams chosen shortly after that

Submissions Due Saturday,21th of January at 12PM NGTime Posted in this thread (with link to art portal in higher quality if desired)

Voting will be from Saturday the 18th to Monday on the 20th of January

Here are the abbreviated rules:

- All Art forum and NG BBS Rules apply
- Use a decent art program or traditional means and a scanner if your partner is cool with it
- Have some art for me to look at to make sure you won't let your partner down
- Both artists MUST contribute, and state who did what in the final post
- Check the other threads for the extended rules if you want.

This Doubles theme is Evolution, suggested by the AwesomeZaurus himself!
How would humans look like if they were evolved from another specie? Any ancient or modern animal race can be the base of each teams drawing.
But it has to be an actual animal! So no aliens or fiction animals. However the evolved creature can be as weird and strangely looking as long as it's built from a real animal.

I seem to have mixed up the dates really badly. My goal was to hold joining open for a week, then pair people and finally two weeks before presenting the image. I'll post the correct dates. But yes, you'll have at least two weeks.

I am very happy for the offers to join if we get uneven numbers. But the point of me being the leverage was to not come in the situation were having to discard someone.
And now it's kinda happening but the opposite of that. :P
So even if I am thankful for the offers, but I only need ONE person for leverage and that might be easier if its just to be me.
