What was your favorite movie from 2011?
I'd go with Super 8, too, since it was a fun movie that really reminded me of classic Spielberg flicks like E.T. I'd also like to state that The Muppets, Sherlock Holmes 2, Thor, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol were all good movies I liked from 2011 as well.

You don't even want to know
I would have to say Hugo. I put it in my top favorite movies of all time after having seen it.
I think that Inception was the best one, still on of my favorites
I can't pick a film that has stood above others.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is my favorite as of now, but Midnight in Paris, Source Code, Hanna, and to a lesser degree, The Tree of Life, all had their moments as well.
Haven't seen Drive or any other substantial films.
2011 was a horrible year for films, especially Western films which are becoming more and more liberal pathetic, and bland.
I'm going with Punished. A film that is brutal, bleak, and a return to '80s-style Hong Kong heroic bloodshed cinema. A rich CEO finds his decadent daughter dead from a cocaine overdose and vows to punish the people responsible. Perfect film.
Captain America was most definitely my favorite film this year, and Sherlock Holmes 2 is probably my second.
I still haven't gotten around to seeing The Thing, but I enjoyed both of the other movies and I'm sure I'll enjoy this one as well.
Honorable mentions:
Rise of the planet of the apes
Super 8
sucker punch
Thor
Captain America

Super 8 and Harry Potter were really good films, however The Inbetweeners Movie was probably my favorite.
Nothing is true everything is permitted.
The Hangover II
Sherlock Holmes
Real Steel
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II
...That's really it. It was a pretty great year for movies in my opinion.
Yea, I farm Anal Penguins. Do something about it.

nope.
Super 8 was basically one of those movies where the writers are on a roll, and then they realize 'fuck, we gotta end this!' so they make a shitty 10 minute ending. Super 8 was an incredible dissapointing movie to me. definently not the best movie ive seen.

I liked Super 8 as well, but I wish I could watch The Thing, it looks really well done (even the CG, yes), but my dad says I'm too young to see it, so he's gonna wait 'till it comes out on DVD so that he can watch it first (he wasn't able to see it at theaters).
