I want your opinion on a series

Yeah... there's this flash series, made by someone that you all might recognize.

All I really want to know is: what do you think of the animation?

because there is quite a fiery debate on it and I just want the opinions of people who knows more animation than I do.

art is average or slightly above that

composition and quality music/sound is what makes that movie worth watching

so yhea, its awesome the cheap way, every scene is made in a way that require little to no animation (ie: the invisible girl lol)

but you dont make something like that from thin air, everything on that is proffesionally done because it was thought thoroughly, the dude must be an artist or something.

thats how you make 5 minutes of animation quickly, cheaply, and the dude might have even had fun, that is some sort of genius too...i mean, take a look at Hulalaoo´s work, THAT is how you make a fight, now his best fights are rarely longer than 30 seconds

I think for somebody with no prior experience in animation, it's a good start. Even though the animation is just basic motion tweens, I think the people posting on it were being a little harsh.

I've seen way worst things than that on NG before.

but dont get me wrong, i belive his material is quality material, its just cheaply animated. dude just compensate it with composition, music, art, spread, marketing, possibly a large penis

no I don't want you to go and troll him, it was just a question, because there's a douche there that just blasts the guy and it's fans.

I just wanted to know if you would, hypothetically, If you would raise these concerns quite differently and you are raissing them quite well by mentioning the positives over the negatives of the animation.
but he onthe other hand just goes out of his way to mention every negative of one single aspect of the short, the animation.

I just wanted to know that thought and how you would have raised the issue, Thank you, you are quite civil in your response

Well, I watched it, and was impressed. The movie portrayed a story with very little animation asides the cape moving and the rain, which really seemed like it was only 2 frames, and the motion tweens as well. The voice syncing could have been done a bit better, although I did like the voice acting, and I do give the artist credit, as the mouths did move.

Overall, I think that this artist was very professional with the movie, as even though it had little animation in it, it still flowed, and was very connected. The lack of animation seemed to go for a specific style, rather than laziness. It felt like I was watching a moving comic, with a good story, and great musical accompaniment.

im curious as to why do you want to win the argument, is that your stuff or something? you have my permission to use my opinion but what can you possibly accomplish by the debate?

im sorry if you expected us fend off the trolls in the name of art and win by the numbers, i dont know the background nor im willing to get in a heated discussion mainly because i dont think its really a big deal

nope I was just curious and I wanted to know from people who had better knowledge of animation than myself

I didn't want to win any argument, I was just in the mood to be curious and this site seemed like a good Idea to ask, since he did have make the Press start series which I did not have had the time to watch and there are many competent animators here to maybe answer my question.

it's a simple moment of curiosity that I had.

But I did not certainly expect that you would go and make an internet conspiracy theory out of me, which is quite funny.

it was just hypothetical and for my own curiosity to see if someone would be pissed enough at the animation to just scream out "IT SUCKz!!11!11" to the creator, or to just calmly critique the work presented.

again just for curiosity and hypothetical purposes.
I'm no troll, I'm more of a spammer more than anything else, but now I haz to go back to college soon and this was just to calm my little boredom. I ask myself too many question and sometimes I just need to spread the insanity... :P :P :P :P
