Black metal is pretty epic. Free form, too. I agree that, next to folk/oriental/shamanic metal and post-black metal, black metal is the best metal sub genre and since it's decidedly freeform, it won't be dying out any time soon.

Black Metal is alright I guess, I just never really got into it. I really don't like Metal as a whole that much anymore, but I still do enjoy sitting back with a nice Stoner Doom Metal album sometimes.
