I just need to get a rough idea as to how many people are interested in doing karaoke this year before it gets officially added to the hub page.

The plan is to have it at the same place as last year's meet: Karaoke Duet 48. The address is here:

To be able to pay for it, we're going to have to collect $15 from each person. Be sure you have the money handy and that you don't forget about it--it's very important. We'll get there at around 6 PM since we'll be spending the earlier part of the day in Coney Island. That leaves about 2 hours of singing time. Most karaoke bars in NYC charge about $8 - $10 per person per hour, and this place offers just about as much as those places for less.

I'll probably wait until tomorrow or 2 days later to book the room because I want to make sure enough people are interested and everyone understands the costs involved. I can't book any room without providing my credit card number and if people show up and don't pay, they'll probably bill me. I don't want that to happen, so yeah...

Also, we'll have to leave Coney Island at around 4:30 rather than 6, which was the initial plan.

I don't see how that's a problem. Penn station is pretty much a self contained mall, so I and whoever is picking us up can hang out til your train arrives.

All of the events on Friday are open for people under 21 and even under 18, except for the evening/late night bar hopping. I don't have Dave's exact address but I think he lives in Bensonhurst--talk to him first.

No. One-day fun passes (where you could get as many rides as you wanted in a single day except for express buses) used to exist, but they're no longer around. Unlimited weekly and monthly passes are still around though, but I doubt most people are staying here that long. I have a monthly pass but only because I live here. The best you can do is estimate the amount of rides you'll need and get a regular pay-per-ride card.

This is a heads up, that im gonna be changing up some stuff on the hub page. The karaoke shit will likely move to friday. Its too tight of a timeline to get out of coney island by 5. that and tom is coming out on friday as well so yeah.
