oh god you've never seen me draw on paper....
me and paper don't match, as much as I want to; she's just not into me...

If you're not good at real life drawing, why don't you just digitally paint a drawing (a real drawing).
Like what that dude requested.

If I am the dude you are referring to then you didn't catch my meaning. I am not necessarily talking about "from life" drawings. I am talking about J-QB should try to let go of the computer for once.

Maybe he just needs to use charcoal.

you're totally right. Yeah I should practice my pencil-skills, the point is that that involves going through a crappy period to get better; and with the amount of art-time I have atm it's pretty important that what I draw is at least somewhat intrinsically rewarding to me. so yeah, later.

Charcoal drawing I did 2,5 years ago.

I like how this thread went from daily drawings, to semi-regular drawings, to squabbling about Qbles technique.
Way to keep on track here boys.

I made a list of things he might could paint or whatever, if he's still willing to get to 300 paintings in this year.
1 your house
2 the house of your dreams
3 your fantasy
4 a snake
5 your idol
6 satan
7 god
8 hulk
9 a chopper
10 your dreamcar

I thought talking about Jasper's technique is the point of this thread?

Nice pictures, I couldn't keep to 1 a day even if I tried, which I luckily don't.

That's still the goal although it isn't exactly looking like it; I'm just totally f`d up with uni work atm. My thesis advisor just told me that I need to change the topic of my thesis (4 weeks after I proposed the topic to him) while at the same time moving back the deadline with four weeks...

Yeah it totally is, any comment/tip is greatly appreciated. Plus it reminds me that I'm fucking this up, which is a good thing cause I can't let that get past me.

Something like this? seems a fitting image for a resurrection of this thread (don't get your hopes up; still too much school work to do daily stuff.)
Remember how I said a while back to remake an old image?
Do this one.
COW #72 entry. Firestarter. This playful litle creature inhabits the vast forests of central europe, though never for long. I was going to edit this, but I wont so here it is.
