I hear from lots of people, including my self. that a lot of the times we can't remember what we dream. but we can remember our nightmares as if they happened yesterday. i find it interesting. Can any one on here answer this? with out being over the top negative about it. just an honest answer.

Dreams are insignificant you most likely remember a nightmare more often because it scared you.

I can recall both hallucinations with reasonable accuracy. The really memorable ones stay with you for a while (by which I mean are efficiently recalled with a degree of accuracy that can be considered satisfactory, for an extended period of time).
If their nightmares are able to be recalled with less effort, it could be derived that they evoke more intense emotions (ie. FEAR MOTHERFUCKER) in the recipient. But being the internet dweller I am, I'm pretty desensitized to the most shocking of dreams.

Hmmmm...
Let's put it this way:
There are dreams, good dreams, and nightmares.
Dreams are just dreams. It might be you standing in the street doing something nothing special.
Good dreams are something you find interesting. Its like you playing with the portal gun! Thats something not very hard to remember.
Nightmares are almost unforgettable... Its sooo bad and scary, you remember it.
Well, thats logical, right?

Or strange dreams. Like, I once dreamed that I was using a wooden stick as a means of transportation. Kinda like a pogo-stick, but it was just a normal wooden stick -- no spring. I was bouncing around with it, traveling far distances at an incredible speed. I hopped around my school a few times and it broke. I called it "driving stick."
Was fucking weird, man.

i seldom remember my dreams, but i think i can recall both nightmare and normal dreams just as fine. sometimes, i have weird sensation and experiences, but it is hard to classify whether a dream is a nightmare or not.
a week ago, in my dream, i was inside a vehicle that was travelling at exactly 417 mph. wouldn't call it a nighmare because it wasn't scary. i also remember one time i was falling towards the ground. in my nightmare. again i remember some details in the dream.
28/12/14 - the last day I made sense.
31/12/14 - left the forums permanently.

Someone usually forgets a dream if they wake up before the dream is finished. You can try to remember them by writing about the dream in a journal as soon as you wake up.

To be honest, I don't have much in the way of recollection for dreams or nightmares, probably because I don't have them very often at all. There's one nightmare that I've managed to remember across the years, but that's it.
Seriously, who even reads these things anymore?

I never got round to watching that film (The prude I was dating wanted to see Pride and Prejudice instead), any good?
OT: I recently had a fairly long dream, woke up forgetting what it was about exactly but 100% I had dreamt it before, years ago. Wierd.

Depends.
As long as you're not one of the "omg anime sucks" guys, watch it.
It's got that same quiet and slow pace while still being interesting like that movie that was in the theaters a while ago. Ponyo, I think.

Dreaming is healthy. Sadly, I either don't dream and sleep envisioning sinister blankness (9/10 times) or have an unimaginably horrific nightmare that plagues me for the rest of the day. Ain't that a downer.
Lucid dreaming seems great, but somehow my subconsciousness is totally buggered or my imagination is a steaming pile of radioactive cow dung. Subtle jealousy abounds. Damn.
Well, of course there are others like me though! No shit. I'm not saying there aren't. It's not a special thing, I know, but it still sucks to be missing out on what should ideally be one third of your entire lucid existence. It almost seems like living in a coma for at least twenty years, unable to escape and simply live your unbridled dream life.

Is it weird that I don't remember having any nightmares... I never have scary dreams, just twisted psychological ones but they never cause me to become scared or sweat or anything.
