Trying to do that schedule thing again. It worked really well last part of last year but due to some circumstances and some lazyness, I fell out of it. Now I'm giving it another go. I even made a printable Weekly Gant Chart to help keep me on track.
Those Gane charts kept me on task with my projects in college too, huh, go figure.
Anyway I want to "Pencil" in some actual study time a couple hours a week. Some time where I sit back and actually tudy and draw.
sometimes digitally and some times traditionally sometimes both, what ever strikes my fancy at the time.
Anyway I also want to set aside some time independently of the drawing time to reads my many drawing books. Actually read them. Not just skim them or find a chapter that just happens to pertain to what I am doing at the moment, but actually read the thing from cover to cover.
Yeah, I shut off my computer, sit back in my comic reading chair, put on some music and actually read. It feels strangely weird to do that actually.
I'm starting with the book "The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" I got it for real cheap, seriously 4 bucks cheap, the other day at Vintage Stock.
My next book will be the "All-in-One Cs3 Photoshop" book, but I fear it will be a bit more boring.
So Hopefully this regiment of practice along with other projects will really help me out. So feel free to comment and critique away.
Lets start with this bit, Yes I uploaded it to the portal, I know that it is that thing I have been doing lately with putting my reference right beside where I'm drawing and trying to draw it from sight, but it is non public so no worries.
Although it might still be a slight infraction of the rules.
The reference is included for convenience, although I guess we could start playing, find the reference Kinsei used today Game!
that might be a fun game though...
So yeah, I'm meaninglessly rambling at this point. So fire away....
