So it would appear that some brands of beer affect me more than others.
For instance, I can drink bottle after bottle of Budwieser to no effect, but give me a bottle of becks and I feel light-headed.
This shouldn't technically happen, since they have the same alcohol content (5.5%, give or take a few %).
Does anyone else experience this phenomenom? I highly doubt it's Placebo, because my head feels fuzzy, and I only ever feel fuzzy drinking becks. (shit tier, all that was available).

That's because it's water.

I can go through a few bottles of Sam Adams and be fine.
I can drink Dos Equis and start feeling it after my first glass.
I don't like Budweiser. I've tried to like it, so I can be cool. but I just don't.

Perhaps, but it's not just that. Magners Irish Cider, and Fosters don't affect me much, while Carling will cause me a morning headaches.

Real men drink Guinness. Just sayin.
But what you mention is something I've never really thought about before. I can't think of any beers of a similar strength having different effects on me. I can't say I regularly drink different brands all that often though. Guinness, Tennents, Carlsberg and Becks is about it, unless I'm forced to buy something else. I wouldn't say one gets me drunk quicker than another.

I've never noticed a difference in effects between two drinks that have the same alcohol content and I don't know why there would be a difference for anyone unless it's all in their mind.
