Just finished catching up with the rest of the world on this awesome web comic, and i must say, Homestuck has blown me away and also confused me to no end.
Im still a little sad Vriska is dead, but at least she isnt out of the story line yet, so that makes me happy.
Im now wondering whats gonna happen with Jane's kernelsprite: after the explosion of Tavrossprite, is it gonna go back to kernelsprite, or did Jane just lose her only kernelsprite in that whole transaction?
Also, a question if anyone can answer it: since Jane and Jake are in a different timeline than Dirk and Roxy, does that make Dirk Dave's older brother and Roxy Rose's mom, as well as Jane being John's granddaughter and Jake being Jade's grandson? Im just a little confused about the situation with those 4

Well the 4 new kids take place in a post scratch universe in which pretty much everything is reversed and the 4 kids from the original universe become their parent's parents. I do a bad job at explaining it, so again, look at the wiki for answers.

This can get a little confusing. In the beta universe (the original universe, with John, Rose, Dave, and Jade), Dirk is Dave's Bro (who is genetically his father), Roxy is Rose's Mom, Jake is Jade's grandfather (genetically her father) and Jane is John's Nanna (genetically his mother (don't worry, John's dad is his genetic half-brother)).

However, after the scratch reset into the alpha universe (the new universe, with Jane, Roxy, Dirk, and Jake), all the roles were reversed. Dave is now Dirk's Bro (father), Rose is Roxy's Mom, John is Jane's grandfather (son), and Jade is Jake's grandmother (son). It's extremely confusing.

So now I understand what Rose ment in her book, Drik is 400 odd years ahead.
