I have to ask you guys, whos more powerful? Gurren Lagann or Dragon Ball Z? This is a really tough call for me.

A character from DBZ can take out Gurren Lagann.

If you went with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, that's a different story. In fact that was the original title before the English dub changed it because the titular mecha didn't show up until near the end of the series.

This a close one, because these are probably two of the most awesome anime series out there. I think that the robots from TTGL would probably win. I say this because those robots have managed to become like larger than the Universe itself in terms of size or so I've heard. I highly doubt even Gogeta could take out a lifeform as strong as that. TTGL are also said to have robots that are like triple infinity which I don't think DBZ characters have.

Well, if you are going with DBZ vs. TTGL in the early episodes, then DBZ would win in a rout, but after the battle with Lordgerome, then their spiral power would easily overwhelm anyone from DBZ, nevermind the fact that Gurren Laggan in it's final form is about the size of the universe, and by that time, even Broly would be crushed like an ant.

It's a robotic mutant who dreamed of becoming a famous actor. It's a funny anime series although it gets sad when the manager got killed in the eighth episode.
