The mods really like it when you keep those in your news posts in your account. I have, however, seen some threads with real life problems, but they usually die quickly or get locked.

The general forums has always been an abyss where thirteen year old boys ask questions about puberty and complain about how their girlfriend was sitting on their lap and he got an erection while looking at a bunch of young girls playing and his girlfriend dumps him.

But yea, the BBS is actually a pretty relaxed place where people literally post about...anything. Whether it's been locked or not I've seen topics about pretty much anything and everything here. Most of the time, it's sad, but I get recent news updates occasionally thanks to NG topics.

Certainly. I see threads here all the time featuring people who ask questions like how they should deal with a situation in their life. It's also noteworthy how many people are able to respond to each other based on personal experiences. I notice a lot of threads that have a person ask what they should do with their girlfriend. I don't see a lot that ask questions about boyfriends, for, well, obvious reasons. There's no girls on the Internet.

Yeah, it probably is the best place to go for questions like that. I don't know what other forum here would work out for that, but the only other forum I visit regularly besides General is the Politics forum and I highly doubt that would an appropriate place. Stuff that goes on in your life certainly qualifies for "General", as it certainly doesn't fall into "Video Games" or "Where Is/How To?". It seems rather silly.
