My father was (no idea now, he's probably dead) a bum that my mother fucked when she was 19. My stepfather was an idiot who worked various jobs inbetween large stretches of joblessness - meat-factory worker, farm hand, bouncer.

My father is a Senior NCO in the United States Army, serving for 29 years now. Currently, on paper his MOS is that of a truck driver (88M), but previously in his career he's been an infantryman (11Z), a flight medic, and an engineer in the Special Forces. My father can out-shoot, out-drive, and out-fight anybody, from what I've seen. His only weakness is running, years of jumping out of planes and marching have pretty much destroyed his legs. The x-rays of his leg bones actually resemble hamburger meat. Despite this, he manages to tough it out enough to climb the mountains of Afghanistan for 15 months every other year cycle or so.

My dad is a baker. a fancy shmancy one too. Oddly, not a great paying job. But, because of probably so many shitty sacrifices, he's able to keep me and my bitch sister alive and happy. All while having to deal with my mom.

If that's not enough, he's also a professional soccer player, and has been for over 30 years.

Did I mention he's 42 and plays harder than a 20 year old?

So yeah, he has a cool career.

Like an intern.
