Infact, without Glados' voice being introduced, I wouldn't have guessed it was Portal at all. I suppose it's a bit harder to do when the game has no discernible theme tune apart from the ones by Jonathan Coulton. You could've mixed some of the in-game sounds.
Either way, it sounds alright in general.
Thanks. Yeah, I found it hard to make the song "sound" like Portal, since there aren't really a theme tune, as you say.
This sounds bad...
I'm really starting to dislike dubstep now...

hey were cool, i do heavy metal too, at least i like both of the artists.
I did not particularly care for it.
It's almost indiscernible from the majority of dubstep. The background sound (by that I mean the sound behind the wubs) does not fit the Portal theme well. It doesn't sound much like anything from Portal. The overall pattern of the wubs doesn't give that Portal feel well and actually sounds like something from an RPG game except in a few places (like 1:39 to 1:48) where it is slightly reminiscent of Portal.
The redeeming components were the inclusion of voices from the characters and the gameplay screenshots. Including the "wubs" as text in the video was also a good decision.
Overall, it doesn't stand out well amongst the other dubstep. A genre which itself is plagued by being largely made up of sub-par songs.
That being said, it's good to see someone putting a bit of effort into Portal-themed content. Portal 2 is an amazing game which completely beats Portal in terms of quality and gameplay, and Portal was a great game to begin with.
Not too shabby, even though I'm not much for dubstep.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

Sick of this shit.

A spear in your chest and a fire in your ass. I only play as Scorpion in MK games, because I'm that much of a fanboy.
Way too much resinance/high end in the main "bass". It also seems to be all mid/high end. You need moar 30-60hzzzz ness subbassness as it does sound extremely empty at the moment, then leik high pass the kick drum or something to give room for the sub bass.
Also Doesnt really give any references to portal apart from speech samples.

Thanks! And yeah, Portal 2 was awesome!

No, just kidding. It doesn't sound bad, it being dubsteb, but I do not like it.
