OP, I have no idea where you are from, but I always assumed that Sublime was only really famous in CA since that is where they came from. Either way, I think that they are a pretty damn good band to be honest, regardless if they are popular or not. Unfortunately they seem to suffer the same problem as the Beatles, they have many "fans" that know the few songs that play on the radio, and are praised highly by people that barely know them, if that's what you meant, then I agree.

But yeah, Bradley was a very talented man.

Beatles are so fucking overrated. Sublime is actually a really good band, but stylistically they are about as original as ten bazillion other ska bands from the 90's. Didn't they all know all the good ska was from the late 70's and early 80's?

Let's be honest, everyone has a reason as to why the band is the favorite or as to why it moves them so much. Everything is personal preference. Realism is always appreciated, because there is more than just you on this planet.

I think that Bradley was a very talented vocalist, as well as lyricist, it's too bad that his talent was wasted on heroin, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

I like Sublime, but we're all entitled to opinions on music, I think yours is a little unfair though, you don't have to enjoy their music, but denying talent would be stupid.
