Well there are areas with fairly large people.
I think are population just has a slightly above average waistline. I am not fat, I'm on the lower end of the bmi scale, wouldnt hurt to lose a few pounds or so

Should've said an American food site
Yes, the United States loooooves food. It's our passion.
To answer your question, yes, we do have a lot of fat people (something like 30% of the population), but the majority of us are of average weight.

As an American, I'm actually quite skinny. I definitely don't fit the stereotype believed by foreigners that Americans are all fat asses.

Well, "obese" is what most people generally think of when they hear "fat". Even if you were just five pounds above the average weight, that'd still count as "overweight", so I generally don't count that as fat.
Yes, they have milkshakes twice the size as ours. I love America!

Certain states are fatter than others. 'Everything is bigger in Texas' means something, you know.
I sure hope that my home state and current residence, Massachusetts, isn't one of the fatter ones. We don't really appear to be, at least through my eyes.

Isn't America like the country with most obese people?
Yeah, right.
