Well.... practice for one....
Study some art basics would be nice...
Perhaps don't use MsPaint. Use gimp or something else.
Study actual narwhal photos (yes they are real) if you want to draw narwhals

Maybe Shading would be a nice factor. Determine where your light source is, closet part of the Narwhal
to the light source would be a lighter shade of purple, the further parts of the Narwhal will be a darker purple, as it gets further from your light source.

Well thats decent for mspaint, if you have flash try that, then touch it up in photoshop or something.
