There are some pockets of Richmond that are nice, in fact, desirable, and you can get some nice views of San Francisco from Richmond, but it's just an industrial city that has a lot of crime problems! Anybody else agree?! North Richmond is believed to be one of the worst neighborhoods in NorCal, next to East Oakland.

Actually the guy who works at my school and lives in my current neighborhood, who's in his early 30s, who had a troubled life and almost got into Mexican gangs and had to deal with gangsters much of his life, went around the country to assist troubled teenagers, mostly in inner cities but also in suburbs. Frankly, I agree with Travis. Eddy's posts should be kept in his blog rather than on the BBS, they all just consist of "X happened in California" but are written in ways that give the illusion that they have discussion value, like in this thread's case, "Has anyone ever been there?" Odds are, none of us have and none of us care about the topic. There might by a slim chance be one or two users who have been there, but nonetheless an entire thread for it is unnecessary.

Well that list is for cities from 100,000 to 500,000 residents. Detroit is definitely on top though, but these cities are really just bad mostly overall. Richmond has few good parts while Detroit might have a really nice neighborhood or two, and the rest of the city is pretty much trash.
