All songs have a weirdly high number of downloads. It's one of the great mysteries of Newgrounds.

Yeah - as a rule, an uploaded song will generally get a download before it even gets a vote on it. Just happened to me a few minutes ago, probably noticed it the tenth time or so but it still doesn't make any sense.

Because other websites rip songs off of here and put them there, and that counts as a download. OR, if a game like the NG Chat contains a radio, it counts as a download every time the song is streamed.
