Children are people too!
But yeah, I know, I just never knew they did. Like, how could you? It's the fucking Easter Bunny. Why would you WANT that thing to exist.

Trying too hard.
The Easter Bunny is one thing, OP. People believe in the Tooth Fairy too.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.

It's debatable, but I see your point. We'll compromise at 'half people'.
But yeah, I know, I just never knew they did. Like, how could you? It's the fucking Easter Bunny. Why would you WANT that thing to exist.
It's as outrageous as believing an omnipresent obese man living in the north pole that travels the globe, delivering presents at your home and every other home on earth. Who still has the time to fill your stockings, have a snack and feed his reindeer half a carrot at every stop.
I never understood the easter bunny, I was wise enough to notice at a young age that bunnies couldn't hold a basket full of eggs, they had no thumbs. AND A BUNNY WITH THUMBS IS JUST FAAAAR TOO RIDICULOUS!

Kids are stupid. But there's no difference between believing in the eater bunny, and Santa/the tooth fairy.

But Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy are cool.
Easter Bunny has always been lame, and the lines I saw at the mall for it were never that big.

I don't know man, I thought it was some kind of marketing gimmick, like with Santa Claus or St. Valentine's Day, or Sweetest Day.
The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.

The bunny was certainly up there - he gave you candy, no questions asked.
There wasn't any "naughty or nice" requirements or "yank your teeth out of your mouth" prerequisite.
You just woke up one Sunday and BAM - free candy.

I swear to god if I went back in time and asked every kid in my preschool if they thought the Easter Bunny was real, they would say no.
Believing in the Easter Bunny is utterly useless.
