I'm surprised this topic doesn't have a thread about it yet somewhere. I found it so interesting, I thought I'd post it. In short, it's all about homosexual gentlemen in the early 70's keeping handkerchiefs in different colours in their back pockets. Now, depending on what colour the handkerchief was, and which side's pocket it was in, which sexual position or action the person preferred.

Apparently it's still done, but very rarely. Although the heterosexual community seems to have adopted it to some extent.

I felt that way too, just didn't wanna risk getting banned over this.
I also agree that we should bring back such a subtle approach to wishing sexuality a bit more. Kind of like the fan code.

Interesting code for that subculture. I definitely see parallels to the prominent gang subcultures, which use the same bandana-back pocket routine to indicate gang membership. i.e. "blue flag hanging on the back side but only on the left side"

I'd never use it because I'm pretty sure having handkerchiefs as a fashion statement - even one with ulterior motives, makes you look like a total ponce.

However, I'd love to see someone use this, and tell them to wait while I google the specific colour and placement.
