Which is where you dug your own grave, they people didn't just sit there and accept it, they did the things necessary to make laws like these pass, they are the ones who wanted foreign cultures to be toned down in their own country and they are the ones who wanted more safety.
If things like those can happen it means that the majority of people accepts it/supports it, and there's NOTHING you can do against that.

Religious. Fucking. Freedom. I don't like Islamic extremists. But I'm sure that this woman doesn't either. The law is insane, and a clear violation of human rights. I hope she wins the case and sues the asshole French Government officials who signed off on this law for all they're worth. Maybe its the French who refuse to assist and enable the Muslims to become accepted in French society.I understand the immigrants tend to stick to their own ways even when in another country. But banning veils and headscarves will stimulate animosity due to lack of cultural diversity/understanding.

That's pretty inappropriate because they've clearly taken the lesser of the two evils.

I'm a little surprised that there are people dressed up like that in a developed country. Definitely for the law, and hope it's carried out strictly.

Here's a thought provoking analysis of what a burka represents
Don't tell me what the burka represents buddy, I think I've got more than enough knowledge on what it is and what it represents.
Plus you guys are acting as if this is a +1 against Islam or something, when the niqab has nothing to do with my religion. It's a cultural thing.

France is merely doing what they do best... being France of course.
All this law is aimed to do is to discriminate against, and hopefully hinder, the immigration of Arabs and blacks. Mainly due in part because of the mass cost they put upon the government. Furthermore, it is also noted that these same people don't generate enough tax revenue to even remotely cover these costs.
Just throwing that out there. Think of it as a decent socialist health care system now going to down the crapper.

This is possibly one of the most stupid laws I have ever heard of. I love how he claims to be making France a more tolerant place by outlawing a certain culture.
Let them wear what they want. Or don't, I don't really care about that rat infested hellhole of a country.

It serves a general purpose for public security. If a bunch of religious fucktards get all butthurt over it oh well. Christ half of the people in here sound like they just got out of a UN session.
FYI the UN is fucking useless anyways and tolerance is overrated

Id say the French in general are getting butthurt over Islam. Also could you elaborate on the public security? I dont see how other it would other than maybe lowering racist crime.

You Christian! Stop wearing that cross on your neck!
You Buddhist! Stop wearing your Prayer beads!
You Sikh! Stop wearing your head towel, cut your hair and your beard!
You Jew! Lose the Skull Cap!
............................
If I were to say any of the above I could be accused of religious bigotry. So why has it been outlawed? Its bigotry in plain sight, rapped in the cloak of promoting inclusion while it dose the polar opposite.

She could have just taken off her veil
It's ridiculous that she's so blindly following her religion that she'd rather go to prison than not dress like batman. There's no reason why she should WILLINGLY be part of a religion that hates women so much that it requires them to not show their fucking faces in public.
"Ma'am, please take off the mask."
"NO! I'M TRASH! I LIKE BEING TRASH! I HATE WOMEN AND THEREFOR MYSELF! I AM THE BATMAN, THE HERO GOTHAM DESERVES WHY ARE YOU HANDCUFFING ME ALLAH ALLAH ALLAH!"
Yeah it's a tad racist but it made me giggle like a little schoolgirl when that played out in my head. Seriously. People can't walk around wearing ski-masks all the time, why should the burqa be allowed? It's borderline uncivilized, disruptive behavior. You'd think that if she really cared for her children she'd remove the mask for their sake, but nope.
Fuckin' Islam and religion in general for you, folks.
I started out with nothing and still have most of it!

I see a lot of people love freedom and all until it starts offending them then they dont like it when people have freedom
people can wear what the fuck they want, ok sure its a bad idea to be naked and walk near a primary school or wear a shitrt with something like "fuck you ni&&ers" in some ghetto and not expect it to be offensive as your obviously asking for an arse kicking but anyone who genuinely is offended by women wearing burqas because its "bad for women" as it shows they dont get the same freedom as men WHEN IN FACT these women CHOOSE to follow islam so its their fucking choice to be a second class citizen in their religion and they can back out at any time if they wanted to but those that want to be part of that religion and express will wear the fucking burqa if they please because we have a rule called "freedom of religion".

I actually addressed it in every way possible. When French President Sarkozy said that the criminalization of burkas and niqabs was to make France more tolerant and inclusive, I contested that reasoning. When the article also said that the criminalization of wearing burkas was for security reasons, I contested that reasoning too.
I didn't miss any point that was being made in the article at all.
