So how was your year of 2011?

With the year finally coming to an end and we start to remember interesting days that the year has given us. Did anything really stand out to you this year?
For me it had to be my work staff party. Never partied so hard in my life. Course it felt like someone kicked my head the next morning and woke up on a beach around 2 miles from where I partied.

Had it's fair share of ups though, nothing too eventful happened. Hopefully 2012 will be an extremely positive and uplifting year.

I manage to utterly foul everything up and disappoint everyone I even mildly care about and proved that I can't manage the simplest of tasks.

So... mildly better then last year. I still cringe when remembering 2010. Several less... incidents this year.

In my interests respect, my skill at videogames has decidedly plummeted but that's no loss. I've gotten so much better at art it's unbelievable, and I've taken up several other hobbies which should all look good on a resume.

I've always been proud at how I've been able to fake social skills (being an undeniable introvert) and was able to continue it this year. Considering I graduated not too long ago several parties and whatnot have marked the past few weeks but throughout the entire year it's been admirable.

Never been the life of a party but I can fake enthusiasm in a conversation and while my long-term relationship skills still lack (long-term meaning anything longer then a one-night stand) I've had a few said one night stands. Who knows, maybe one day I can convince people I'm a player or something.

So it's been an alright year. Definitely better then the last few years and everything is looking to get even better now that I'm looking to get into university.

Went to some sweet parties, started going to college, got some decent grades at GCSE, met new people, smoked weed all summer.

It was pretty average.

Well not much, Moved places, changed school, began a new course in my studies, met new people, made new friends and removed some from my life. All in all it wasn't a bad year, i developed more of a person and learned from my mistakes. No year in my life was a bad year for me till now so i guess that maybe we just have to see if i'll finish this year in an amazing way and start the next year the same way.
Let's hope for the best?

In retrospect, I have to say, 2011 was not one of my better years. Though I may have had my first stable job and built my resume a bit, I think the bad far out weighed the good.

At first it was awesome , after summer things got majorly fucked up.
I don't want to go into detail but yeah. Still single , Not as much friends as I used to, Fired , Re-Hired , Only had sex 5 times this year because I stopped drinking...
But I learned how to be a better artist.

It was my last year of high school. And since I live in New Zealand, school years go from January/February to November. Probably the most relaxed high school year overall. I also went to a lot of actual parties which I'd never done before.
It's alright year so far.

Largely uneventful for me, got back into Magic: The Gathering, started training earlier for internationals in rowing this year for my partners hopefully third title and my first. Applying to law school, med school, and a masters program. Nothing of significant importance, just minor details.

Huge disappointments throughout the year, mostly school-related.
I did get my driver's license and car, though. That's pretty much the only good thing.
