Compared to most artists, my progress and improvement is horribly slow, which bums me out. Goes to show I can't be lazy and just have to practice a lot more.

Man, this has to be the best thing you've ever done ever. Like I doubt even the Bob Ross picture is even a minor testament to the awe-inspiring Squirtle Squirt.

Nice bewbs. Off my first glance, I actually thought this was a photo. Looking closer, of course it's not, but still! Good job on that, very lifelike value n' stuff. I can tell you got kind of lazy the lower you got in the photo, hehe.

Crappy doodles? CRAPPY DOODLES?!? I only wish I could make awesome characters like this! I love the stylisation, line, colour, all of it! You should try out making a comic with characters of this style or something. If they're crappy to you, it shouldn't be too hard to draw them over and over, eh? But yeah, I actually really love these.

It's wonderful. Can't really speak for the likeness, not knowing what you look like and all, but the colours and the lighting are great. The facial expression is nice too. Like you're not just modelling for a portrait, it looks like you have something else entirely on your mind. Loving both the cartoony and the more painterly stuff. Awesome thread.

The 2 moles (those brown dots) on your neck reminds me of a vampire bite mark lol ( I also notice a brown dot of the throat of the neck and one at the cast shadow of the neck).
Anywho, I have nothing much to say on the facial structure besides being iffy on the nose being not even (I don't have great grasp knowledge of noses, but I can't tell whether the shadow of the nostrils is bothering me or not or maybe the bridge of the nose).
How did you go about painting this, my guess was something taking a silhouette shape of your head and then you fill it in with your coloring which would explain the edginess of your ear and hair. I'm certain that you can easily smooth out those sharp edginess if you wanted to unless you either forgot about it or left it like that for the purpose of the portrait relating to the technique you used.
I like the color scheme, that dark grayish background works well with that tone of the skin you did there. Fits well for low lit places.
