I found it pretty fun. Surprisingly it has the only non-WWII war shooter campaign that entertained me.

Where's the honor in voting for one modern military shooter published by a big heartless corporation and introducing a small amount of improvements that doesn't radically alter the established formula VS. the other? I went with Battlefield this time around because I wanted something slightly different, but I'll admit that MW3 is an incredibly polished game that offers a more robust and varied experience than BF3.

Oh, and not to mention Battlefield's campaign didn't have as much depth in story as MW3's did, which is actually quite sad. EA made the campaign, not DICE, so I think it's fair to say that the publisher majorly ruined this for everybody.

While I can admit AS A GAME, it is horrible.
In single player you are some toe nail grunt that doesnt matter and your character is comparatively as important as the character you play in Oblivion. IE: Not very freaking important.
And the multiplayer is as buggy and glitchy and as frustrating as ever and took a giant leap backwards from Black Ops.
Yeah its true the game sucks pretty bad, but the redeeming quality that is COD is that when you play with friends, it is actually a bunch of fun. THAT is where COD has its niche.

AS A GAME battlefield is amazing. There is hardly a thing wrong with it, unless you are on PC and you have origins installed...which is another story.
But Battlefield is NOT very friend friendly...if you get what I mean.
You cant grab a whole stack of friends and have fun...only a few.
That is its problem, and that was its downfall.

People might have actually liked MW3, I won't deny, although I've never played, there is very little that sets it apart from it's predecessors and I think besides it's Campaign and Survival mode (which is probably as fun as Zombies) that the game isn't worthy of the title it was bestowed. Even though I'm not a fan of CoD games because I dislike the game mechanics that are desperate try to make the game seem more like a simulator instead of just an ordinary videogame, I do find MW3 as a good game.

Not sure which system's version you people are talking about, but I've heard that the Xbox version is a true nightmare what it comes to the multiplayer.
I have the game for Wii and apparently the Wii's online has less issues than Xbox's which is pretty fucked up, I just keep wondering how is that possible.

Still, you should never give a fuck about some stupid awards for a game, people vote based on their opinion and there are huge amounts of kids who love CoD because it's a game they're used to.

I by myself am more of old school because I love shooters where you can stay alive longer, jump like crazy and fire your weapon without losing it's normal accuracy, now thats some real fun
