I still sometimes get that anticipation, but it's mostly when I witness the younger kids in the family about to open their presents. Their faces are always priceless.
My little brother makes me lol. He opens one present, is like "Cool!" then throws it to the side and opens another. My parents are like, "Did you even see what it was?"

I'm quite excited for this Christmas if I'm honest.
Usually I don't particularly ask for anything, seeing as I'm nearing 20 now and it feels a bit awkward asking my parents to buy me expensive things when they let me stay at home for free. Usually I'm quite happy to receive a new Xbox game and my parents will give me a few other odds and ends with some money.
This year though my parents decided to get me a smart phone, seeing as the thing I have is a piece of shit. Quite eager to mess about with my new phone on Christmas. Getting a new piece of technology is always exciting for me.
