If you're in college, can't you skip lectures?
Well.

It was the idea. It's gone onto abit bout the folley used in Indiana jones. Good movie don't care about how they made the sound effects for it.

In the US, "college" implies the ability to grant an undergraduate degree. "University" implies the ability to grant both graduate and undergraduate degrees.
I think based on what I've read, that in England "college" is equivalent to American "high school."

Well in the UK we leave highschool at 16 and then if we want to we can go to college to study a specific topic, art, buissness, food tech. What ever really. And this gives you a diploma which can then be used to get into university. I'm twenty now and this is my third college course (art then media and now digital arts) then I'. Thinking about having a gap year and then going to university to study media.
You should have just watched the thing. It's an interesting subject.
I'd just trust the lecturers and what they are teaching. There is probably a broader application of this knowledge in the near future.
I never want to sit through lectures, though somehow I end up listening to it anyway...
