Anyone know where I could find something like that? I've looked but I haven't found anything, so no lmgtfy.com, please.
For frame by frame animation i highly recommend this gem. Teaches you everything you need to know about animation in general, character animation, weight, basically all the essentials of animation which opens you up to explore on your own :)

I seen that book but I didn't think it would translate over to flash, guess I was wrong. I'm definitely getting that book now, thanks.
My major question though is, do animators like Harry Partridge us symbols or do they draw every single frame? I know that this style takes more time, but honestly, I really don't like the look of symbol and motion tweened animations.
I'm pretty decent artist in flash, so drawing a picture over and over wouldn't be a problem for me, hell, I'd enjoy it. But I'm just not sure how I would go about doing it, that's why a Flash focused book would be invaluable to me.
Nevermind, I found the newgrounds forum search. All my questions were answered and then some. After seeing how many people said how important The Animators Survival Guide is I already went ahead an ordered it.
hey everybody thanks for advice on the book! i just went ahead and bought it.
so on another note. Does harry patrigde use frame by frame? or does he use symbols and some crazy advanced tweens?

most likely restricts tweens to pans and character movement LIKE A GOOD ANIMATOR SHOULD.
and then sneaks some in every now and then unnoticed (like a sneaky animator should)
