I say it again, we need one giant thread "Let's bitch about Youtube".
And I finally got the change.

I can understand changing things a little bit at a time, but this is a complete redesign. I actually think that they removed reply comments too. They must have got tired of flame wars on videos. Makes sense. Oh well, if they don't give us the option to just use the old format, might as well get used to it.

There is a hell of a lot wrong with the way subscription updates are displayed. Hopefull that will get fixed.
Nothing wrong with a tidy new change.

Usually I welcome changes to major websites and think them practical.
This is not one of those instances. This is beyond a cosmetic upgrade. Those who go to YouTube solely for their subscriptions have been shafted. The single column design is impractical--this vertical design is PROBABLY PROBABLY there since iPhones/tablets are the way of the future.
Worst part is you can't X out the videos you don't want to watch.

I don't mind this too much. At least the shit seems to actually be in the right order, and all new uploads are being displayed. But I really do disagree with the single column view. Errybody these days has wide screens.

I never had a problem with all uploads being displayed before. As of now, my entire page can be filled by videos I've already watched since I can't delete them from my sub box, so for me, if I've spent more than a couple days away from YouTube, I won't be able to see any of the older stuff without having to click the "Load more" button at the bottom of the screen a few times.
It's just an inconvenience and a major step backwards. I'm sure the feature will be reimplemented, but coming from one of the most popular sites on the Internet, I expected better from them.

I'm subscribed to a fair few people, so whenever they upload something, it either won't show up at all in my subscripstions, or it appears in some random order not relevant to the upload date.

How strange. I'm subscribed to 60 channels, and never once had an issue with the uploads being out of order. I did hear complaints about the sub box glitching, though I never experienced anything myself. I guess I'm happy for you. :(

I'll give the site some credit for not going with those overblown thumbnails from the Cosmic Panda beta testing. Yes, the channel does have bigger thumbnails but they're within reasonable size. However, YouTube still need to remove the top comments. Everything, I use subscriptions page so I'm not having the recommended videos forced on me on the front page.

Some People may still not have this. If your browser isn't displaying like this and you want it to, check out the YouTube experiments link at the bottom of the website, and check out Space Panda or w/e it's called.

It's english, and "that will" can be used in this sentence. There's nothing wrong with the sentence.
2. Clunky, bloated, and one video takes up three quarters of the sidebar, yeah, looks perfect.
^opinion. I think it's fine. I prefer the old layout. But only because I could remove videos, from my homepage, when I was done watching them.
3. OMG you have an image macro so it must be true xD.
Now you're just looking for things to hate on.

I know. What I find hilarious though is the people complaining about this new change, but want the old one back. However when the old layout was the new layout they didn't want that one.

If there's one thing I hate more than anything else, it's change, however bar from the front page things don't seem to be too different, despite a slight shift of colouring, so I don't mind. A few things have been moved around, which might take a while to get used to, however I have a feeling that this might end up like their previous redesign - which I hated at first, but now looking back at their former design I wonder why I preferred it to the newer one. The one thing I dislike still about their previous redesign is all the emphasis on voting between two options, causing a large number of the comments to be people begging for thumbs up or people commenting on the like/dislike bar, perhaps weaving extremely unoriginal Justin Bieber or Chuck Norris jokes in while they're at it. I'll have to see how things turn out on this one.

From a distance, the new layout looks like shit. But in using it, it's definitely growing on me. Much more graphically well-composed than the old one, I must admit.

When I first saw that, I thought it was just something they were doing for AIDS awareness day, because they announced it on the same day. I guess not, as this doesn't seem to have anything to do with AIDS or a lack of AIDS for that matter. It's going to take awhile to get used to this, but seeing as how YouTube is so popular, most people will simply have no choice but to go with this redesign. Good thing we're not as big as YT.
