My girlfriend recently got a PayPal account but could not log in due to an apparent password problem. She went to click the change your password thing and it continued to just take her back to the home page..
We eventually called them up and asked how to fix it and apparently they have an issue with reseting passwords because of the security issue. The lady pretty much told us there was nothing that could be done about it and now we can't buy anything off the internet because everything is done through paypal and our her account details are in the system but can't be accessed.
The lady on the phone told us that apparently this is a problem they have with 46% of their customers lately.
46 fucking percent! How can they opperate with numbers that shitty.
Does anyone know anything at all that can be done?

Calm down. It will probably be fixed soon. And if not, use your credit card.

Calm down? He has a legitimate reason to be pissed and is looking for answers.

I personally love and also hate PayPal. I am running a website [ I will not mention name according to forum rules ;-) ] which accepts payments. PayPal have made new rules and regulation which is disappointing my clients. I'm using PayPal from more than 3 years. It's amazing, secure and fast. but some of their strict policies making their clients disappointed.

I hate paypal because they don't accept my European card so I can't order stuff from Italy. Also, stupid ebay only uses paypal.

That is quite strange you've been locked out of your account. From what OP said, sounds like the woman on the phone wasn't too happy with the situation either.
I've been using PayPal for quite a while now and I've yet to be disappointed. Payments are always fast and accurate. Originally when I signed up for eBay, my bank at the time didn't cooperate too well with PayPal and online purchasing in general.
That was a totally separate hassle.
