Hello there,
I'm completely new to animation. I know how to draw, not much else. Is there a place where I could go to get started, learn how, etc?

Read this books:

- Richard William's Animator Survival Kit.
- Preston Blair's Cartoon Animation
- The Illussion of Life (If you have time, it will give you an insight in the history of animation).

Start learning about flash or any software you want to animate, thats the easy part.

If you want to animate digital, well, get a wacom or sth like that.

And the most important thing: Practice, a LOT. Learn the hard way: FRAME PER FRAME, POSE TO POSE, STRAIGHT AHEAD ANIMATION, dont let everything to the computer.

Dont expect your first animations to be super awesome, they won't, but they will if you give animation the effort and time that it deserves.

Bye.

I have a view (.xib) which consists of a tableview assigned to an array. Using the method:

(void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath
I tell the table to do a animation once a cell is selected, my question is how do I assign the table a completely new array to use for its dataSource, and reloadData before the animation occurs.
