4.07 / 5.00 13,902 ViewsAight, I'm trying to find the best 'phones for the price. I need BIG bass! I don't care if they take batteries, as long as they have great sound. I currently use my earforce x11's for listening to bass heavy stuff (they are about $50). I was looking at the bose AE2's ($149), and they sound about as good as the studio Dre Beats ($350).
If its is just bass you are looking for,
Skullcandy's skull crushers are for you. I got some beats and for the price and alright. I am a huge music nerd and when I got them on for too long they start to hurt my ears...

and Dre Beats are way worse than Skullcandy for price...

I admit they are a piece of shit company but the address all of his needs. BASS.
Seriously, they have the most bass you can get from headphones without messing with the EQ a bit.
You could always buy the cheap ones. They have the same quality and anything over $100 is just something for retarded audiophiles.

I do also like good quality sound too! Both in speakers and music.

Yeh, Dr. Dre are expensive, but at least deliver. Not that I'd buy them.
I don't know what to recommend as I don't care much for brands and only for proper output.
A while ago I bought some 14EU in-ear buds from eBay. Best money invested ever.
They're tight fitting, have a good spectrum (14hz - 25khz) and are surprisingly sturdy.
If you look up some headphones on the web on their specs you'll surely find the best ones for you.

If you're looking for good headphones with alot of bass, look at the specs on the packaging. Look for headphones with a wide Frequency Response range. The average pair of headphones will say 20-20,000Hz. Basically, you want a pair that makes that smaller number even smaller, and the larger number even larger.
For example, the largest bass I've had for headphones had about 3-27,000Hz.
These are the ones I`m getting for Christmas, at 10-30,000Hz. They`re on sale for 50% off too. My girlfriend has a pair, and they`re pretty kick-ass
Don't get the Beats. They're good compared to shit headphones, but the price is up there solely for the name.
As for me, I'm still looking for the perfect 'phones for the perfect price.
This is my signature. It is a nice signature.

Unless you dish out 400 bucks, beats suck for base, but those sonys look amazing.
Its between the sonys and the skullcrushers now.
Skullcrushers have a lot of distortion, no?
I'd say if you want some rocking bass that won't hurt the back of your eyes after a couple hours, go with these
