Mixtape for New Grounds!

I am currently working on a New Grounds Hip-Hop mixtape which will be featuring collabs on-top of collabs of New Grounds Rappers/Singers and Hip-Hop Producers. Explained further here.

However, I wanted to keep the entire thing, SOLELY New Grounds contributions only, and of course we need a cover for the mixtape!

(This isn't a "paying" gig as everything on New Grounds is usually based-free other than the shop.)

I was wondering and hoping if anyone would be interested in creating a great coverart for this mixtape!
The cover would have to have the titled "New Grounds presents" on it somehow, and the word "RAW The Mixtape", in any form way or fashion. I'm not demanding or trying to force anybody to do this, I was just hoping that somebody might be interested and contribute some art for the tape!

That is a Hip-Hop COMPETITION, not a Mixtape. That is a ton of artists on New Grounds battling eachother, not necessarily rapping together. Many people have had this idea before me, nobody that I know of has actually gone through with it, however.

My bad, I understand the difference now. When do you want/need/plan to have it by? And can you give us a hint what you mean by more "retro"? It's still a very broad term I think.

Yea, Red is very good at creating these competitions but this isn't really one. As well this is specific only New Grounds users can contribute to it as to where Red does good by trying to bring in people from other sites to notice New Grounds a little more as well as join in on the battles.

Ahh, "retro" is a broad-term, I shouldn't have used it. I meant something with some more colors and a little more background going on. The mixtape isn't quite near-done right now, so their should be plenty of time to create this. I don't have a deadline or anything like that set as of right now.

So because a mod locked a thread, you're gonna cut all of NG?
The reason why your second thread was locked was because you already have this thread, so if you wanted to continue with it, it's best to continue the original thread so people already have all the information and know what's already been going on. If everyone made a new thread for every new art piece, or additional information for an art request, the forum would be too clustered and people wouldn't know what's going on.

No, I'm cutting it out of the forums.

I made a new thread because its likely people will come in, read the first post without reading any new information, create a wonderful art piece that won't fit what I was hoping for, and then not want to make a new version of it.

If people still want to be apart of the project they need to PM me. I would've rather he/she locked this thread. Seeing as how I already had two, not sure what would make it matter about which one was locked.

As well as not many people in the Art looking for something to do will open a thread named "Mixtape for New Grounds" as the other was named Album Cover Art I believe.

I'm already speaking with many artists, I'm just not going to be doing it over the forums.
