haha not intentionally xD
Well. . . I hope mine isn't too crabanoid.
Not sure if this is finished. The background is basically just a place holder and I wanted more oozing lava, but I don't think that I'll have time to work on it again before the Dec 5th deadline. Cheers, folks.

Nah, you're fine. Looks great.
Long time no art for me, I'm a lil rusty, but tryin'.
Anyway, my idea is that this creature is like a cold blooded reptile where it needs the heat of lava to stay alive. If it fails to bathe in the lava, its solid and molten rock exterior will eventually solidify causing it to become encased in solid rock and eventually die. It developed this rock layer as protection from predators that stalk these baren waste lands.
Anyway, I'm quite busy so I don't know if I will be able to finish this...
Dat compression... I still need to shade and highlight the rock exoskeleton and do the background (if you hadn't noticed).
This is too humanoid isn't it..... it's supposed to be a devil creature sorta thing..... obviously not finished......

oh, so cute :D reminds me of adventure time a little bit, not in style so much as character.
Volo Prognatus Ignis
-Nuclear reaction inside creature creates helium
-Flight is controlled by small air sacs inside the creature
-Eggs are incubated in the earths core
-When creature hatches, a volcanic eruption follows on departure of nest
-Life span around one week
-Mistaken for UFO's
-Known to interfere with electronic equipment
Sorry guys, this is all I have. I wanted to put more time into this, but I'm too preoccupied with game jam right now. I might finish this later down the road, only time will tell.
(This illustration is of the creature hatching, didn't get to add any lava/fire or give any indication that its creating an eruption, again, sorry guys.)
"Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions."
here is my thing... still need more practice with Photoshop and colors and what not... merh, it was going to have bat like claw/wing/arm things but i thought i leave it at that...
Lego's snake thingy
i think it looks ok :D
I can't figure out how to word this without sounding like a dick but I mean it as a legitimate question.
Is it really that hard to just not draw a dude made of lava?

I lost track how long was I working on this o.O
Is that a giant arachnid with a city inside with a giant air sack? I'm definitely voting for this one.
Known as the montequat, or mountain shaker, it's solid rock shell melts and becomes a part of its molten core as it grows. When it sleeps, its shell hardens again, and chips into segments as the montequat moves once awakening.
