Fuck you, dude, I'm 14 too. Exactly what are you implying about the maturity of 14 year olds? Yes, I know, a lot people our age are severely incapable of rational thought. However, spreading shit around about an entire age group is not how you deal with the problem, because that's blatant ageism. Using yourself as proof, you can assume that not everybody acts underage.

In fact, a vastly disproportionate amount of intelligent teenagers are in the Newgrounds community -- along with the slightly older natural bigots that have something against younger people. A complete split in the community is regular, though. Anyway, you're preaching to a choir, as many people here are "mature for their age," whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean.

Way back in the day when we all had dial up and AOL was in almost every house i used to hang out in the chat rooms with these kids that were 13 to 15 years of age. I was 10 i was really there just to learn slang words like slut, whore, chode etc(back then we didn't have urban dictionary.) I never told those guys my real age and when people told me i was acting like an immature little 13 year old in the chats i took it as a compliment.

I'm 14, too. And people who judge others by age are fucking dumbasses.

I first signed up in 2007 when I was 12. I mas more mature in 2009 than I am now. I'm 16 and people look at me and think I'm 17.

A lot of adults don't put the same amount of trust in a kid or judge them on a fair level sometimes because they are on an ego trip even if they don't know it, those guys suck especially if they have shitty personalities to back up lousy judgment.

I'd say other reasons that adults are hard on kids is because a lot of kids can be shady little bastards. Kind of like how some people have their offline personality and their online one. A majority of kids behave differently in front of adults than they do in front of other kids even into their teenage years for some.

I wouldn't say people who judge people solely on age are dumbasses they can be ignorant, selfish, clueless, or conceited though.

I was once like you. Scared to reveling my age. Until I realized your age doesn't determine how crappy your posts are. You do that and NG knows that.

I'm 15 and I joined when I was 14. In fact one of my all time favorite NG'ers is 14.
