I'm still half asleep, but usually I think by shutting it off I'm like a king or something redeeming his people after years of exile or something and I'm like "huh... yaaaaay zzzzzz"
I don't even know.

The first thing that comes to my mind is to get up and turn that shit off. Then go back to sleep to get some more Zzzzzz.

*hit snooze several times, be late for work*
That's me every morning. Then every night before I go to bed, I say "I'm getting up as soon as it goes off in the morning and I'm getting to work early"
but I lie. :-(

I heard a great joke or pun about sleep. I can't remember it properly but it was about the fact that most of us will get something like 6-8 hours solid sleep a night and the first thing we do once we've woken up? Try to cramp in as much minutes extra we can with our snooze button, not face the day bright and refreshed. Does make you wonder a little.

The first thing that pops into my head is generally, "It's time to get up and do whatever I am supposed to do". Seriously, I don't think there'd be much of anything else I would think. It makes me realize that it's been awhile since I was awoken by an alarm clock. I'm not bothered by it or anything. I don't use it much, but I realize that I'm actually really good about it, I don't recall an occasion where I ever went back to rest after hearing it.
