Maybe this will sound a little sour grapes, but I know at least one audio entrant who got tons more downloads of his entry than most of the winners did. And I totally agree, impartiality of the judges will give the artists more incentive to participate in the next contest.

The more the site can do to attract better musicians to contribute good music and participate in the contests, the better it is for the game developers. Music contributes a lot to the gaming experience.

I got honorable mention - nothin' wrong with that. I think 3rd place should have won
