There are a few words of his, that I thought were a bit interesting/surprising moments before he was :ctually arrested (11:19-11:39), but I guess that thinking a bit deeper on the context, it sounds like he would just be doing his job against his will, but from what I've gathered the Philly PD hasn't taken the extreme measures that NYPD has with using pepper spray or brutal violence.
!He was even featured on MSNBC after the arrest!
Spread the word, there are people in law enforcement that believe law enforcement needs to be fixed to serve EVERYONE!

Looks like a political stunt to me. There all smiling for the camera. As if to say "yes, were the good guys, but we will still take away your freedom"

This incident practically screams pre-planned. I guess a little television time and news stories is what they were aiming for.

It may seem that way, though I'd really feel surprised they would summon someone from Philadelphia to do this.
And yes, he is retired, but was also arealofficer.
He made mention of a film you could find online called "Inside Job" which is what was the essential reason he pulled this "pre-planned political stunt", as its been called.

That's a great flick. A lot of hilarious moments of stumping Wall Street bigwigs and in-your-face corruption of business.
And all narrated by Matt Damon. Just wonderful.

This exactly, a retired officer isn't referred to as an officer. They don't enforce the law, they can't take in prisoners, they're retired. That man is not an officer.
