Couldn't i get a loan in America, and transfer in into Canadian money? Also, do i need to be a citizen to get a job there? But if there are any good schools in America, i would like to know, for 2D animation.
if you're set on VFS, go through their website to find the appropriate contact information, to personally get their attention that you're interested in applying.
it'd be a shame if your passion for animation didn't get assistance, hope you find your path
MRH FLASH GAME DEVELOPER
Okay i live in Vancouver and i have asked around about animation schools to every single animator i meet. I met a guy once and he went to VFS and capilano for traditional and 3D respectively. When i asked him which one he thought was better he said capilano.
Everyone i have asked has said Capilano. It's a much better school and it's also much cheaper, go there instead. I'm planning to go there. The only person i have ever heard favor VFS over capilano is a representative of VFS i met at SIGGRAPH. So yeah... Capilano.
Sig made by me

i've heard that there's a fee if you aren't a civilian to go to a college/university in canada.

I'm going there soon for Visual Effects Teachings. It's very well known for visual effects, but most of it's other programs aren't as advanced. You'd be better off going somewhere else.
