Me and my lads were snow fighting, and I ran and fell on ma bum.
Seriously I could've died from that.
There have been a few, several years ago.
When I was about 3-4 apparently I was running towards the edge of a cliff and, well, I didn't in the end.
Around that age (albeit older) I ran face first into a huge glass "wall" then blacked out and fell onto the rocky ground. I swear that shit shouldn't have been there.
And another time about 6 years ago I was climbing a small rocky "cliff" of mud from the side up with a friend, I slipped and was falling back, when very quickly my friend swung a large stick into my view, I quickly grabbed it and managed to regain my balance. At the drop were several sharp wooden spikes and thorns aplenty.
Oddly enough, at the top of the "cliff" I found a skull with very large back teeth placed on a tree, fairly creepy, looked a little human.
Six or seven or so summers ago I was almost drowned by my own brother, that dick.
When I was about 3 or so, I stumbled into my neighbor's back yard. She had a very violent pit-bull. When the dog was just about to eat me and rip me apart, my older brother (who was ten at the time) came in and took the heat for me. The dog bit his leg, and he got a very big gash which turned into a huge scar. My brother probably went to the hospital, and the dog got put down sooner or later. I've only heard stories about this ever happening, so I don't know any of the details.
Drowning in a hotel pool, I guess. I didn't know how to swim, and I went to the deep side.
Just call me Psycho for short.
I nearly fell off a third story-balcony once.
Hey RB, you and that wall should totally meet each other at 90mph

I got lost in a hotel when I was 8 years old. It took me about ten minutes to find my room again. Thank god some sicko didn't get to me first.
Once got shot in the arm by a stray bullet from a revolver.
I was from a pretty bad neighborhood, and there was always gun fights going on.
Surgeons later told me that the bullet was about a quarter inch away from hitting a major artery.
But, that's like for you.
Barev dzez.
That time I was clinically dead for 12 seconds.
I nearly died of alcohol poisoning a bunch of times, and I guess I can count when I OD'd on Vicodin about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Also, I had a nasty heat-induced seizure late July of last year on a train, and I probably wouldn't be around today if that happened on the edge of the platform.
One time when i was younger, i choked on a mint, and somehow i threw up. Sure enough, the mint came out with the rest of the throw up allowing me to breathe again.
Butt is wet.

Hahaha, I've done that before as well. But I didn't feel like I was going to die.
Thanks for sharing your stories guys!
When I was 5 I had a thermometer in my mouth, I accidentally bit the glass of the thermometer and ,y mother panicked and my father sent me to the hospital, the doctor said that I did not swallow any of the mercury inside of it, I could've died from it or get handicapped.
Emphasis are great!
I already said this in another very familiar thread but once I was biking home on the highway because there had been a two day power outage in my entire area (this was just 3 or 4 months ago.) The car headlights were the only reason I could see a damn thing so I just went along the side. Finally I found a road that curved around towards my street. I followed along this and a humongous jeep with extremely bright headlights came swerving around and didn't even decide to fuckin' slow down a single pace. I turned as sharp as I could as it hit my back tire slightly sending me rolling into the ditch and my bike with a dented tire in the middle of the road. The jeep just continued onwards down into the highway lane as I laid there for at least an hour. I didn't have any damages other than some cuts and scrapes but my heart was racing so fast I didn't want to get up.
A few days later after the power outage ended I saw the same humongous jeep swerve on the street of my corner and it was so close to hitting me the rear view mirror smacked me in the shoulder.

When I was like 5 or 6 I remember getting frantically woken up by my dad. I had a slight cold and he was taking off all of my pajamas and took me into the bathroom and proceeded to douse the crap out of me with ice cold water. All I could do is cry and struggle and my dad kept repeating 'you have a 106 fever, I have to cool you off!'. I went to the doctor the next day and he told me that if he hadn't had done that, I probably would have died. So thanks, dad!

Once as a little one while jaywalking across the street I forced a car to stop abruptly and got honked and cussed at by the driver. That's it.
When I was 15, one of my buddies dared me to crawl into a tight passageway (We were at some abandoned building by the coast.), it was like some attic space with a little door. Of course, being a dumbass, I went in, and my buddies locked me in as a prank. However, the cops showed up because we'd been making noise, and kicked everyone out. I was stuck in there for something like four hours in that tight ass space, and I'm extremely claustrophobic now because of it.
And a year later (Also at the beach, this time with my at-the-time-gf.), I wasn't paying attention to the ocean because I was talking to her and a riptide caught me. One second my feet were on the sand and the next I was like 40-50 feet from the coast, my parents and gf were freaking the fuck out. I wanted to spaz out and drown but some part of me remembered to swim sideways, and I managed to get back to shore.
If I had freaked out, I might've died.
When I was around six weeks old, I was really sick. My mom told me that I had a fever of 105F and had to be sent to the emergency room. She also told me that I had my spinal tapped, so I came to conclusion that I had viral meningitis. If it was bacterial meningitis I would not be here to tell you guys this.
The only other thing closer than that was a big rottweiler punctured my left shoulder when I was really young. Had there not been a fence between me and the dog, well I would have been dead.

Bullshit. Anyone can be killed.
I had a blood clot on my ombilical cord. With the slightest movement or nudge it was going to cut of my life support. Killing me before I had even been born. I was born a month early when my mother's body began to force me out, and if I hadn't been I might not have made it. My sister, wasn't so fortunate. I believe she died from the same thing that almost got me.
