That damn game doesn't work on my computer. I downloaded the patch, new DirectX, and turned off all my firewalls, and it still doesn't work.

As for Ragnarok, I hate that game. It has no plot, and all you do is go into towns and beg for higher level people to give you things, So you can wander out into a forest and get killed by a tree. You then restart back in the town with 1 HP and have to beg everyone to heal you.

Oh well. At least NG isn't being powered completely by hentai anymore.

Fuck, I thought Tom was gonna talk how great the Norwegian black metal band Ragnarok was and to inform us. Yes, as you probably didn't know nor care about, Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir played keyboard there, so you should check it out. Oh, I play enough internet RPGs as there is.

I'm already in that game it's very cool and I think all rpg fans should give it a try.

It is nice to advertise a game like Ragnarok, but unfortunately it's not free, and most of us aren't willing to fork over money to play games where there are other free ones. Granted there are free servers, but those aren't easy to locate (unless you got friends). Anyways, it'd be nice to have fewer ads and popups.

I know this has already been said on this thread, but please, I'd rather look at the "I am Asian" advertisements than these frickin porno banners and pop-ups. ANYTHING is better than this garbage.

(Yes, I'm Asian- I'm not being hypocritical. :P)

Good job, not only does that game bring in a decent amount of money, but the players stay there for a while so its constant linking between the two sites. Nicely done. I emailed them just a few minutes ago asking about advertising too.

Gravity (the company that runs Ragnarok) does not care about their American players.

After playing it for afew months, The original Korean version had 3 majour updates wile the USA branch was still figuring out how to link to files on the website. They just got trash from the Korean versions.

I'd say more, but I really should not be badmouthing NG's sponsers.

Ragnarok is old news. it's been out for almost a year now and it was fun when it was free. But nobody seems to realize why the servers are down alot. It's usualy because they are getting hacked. The game is still too buggy and the only good thing about playing it is to play it on a friends server. Then it's free. And you don't have to deal with all the A-holes that go on it.

ragnarok is based off of a manga series by clamp a japanese printing company." thats the game" in actuallity ragnarok is the old norse meaning for the end od the world. Where the norse god balder is killed and the rest of them fight untill all of the earth is swept up in the battle.
Plus the game is awsome ive had it for 2 years "Japanese servers"

And I thought you were going to talk about mech-assault.. bleh. I'll check out the game and the hardware seams nice. And the hentai banners have turned people away from the site, one of my friends cant go on it because of that, so the less porn adds, the better.
