Can you get worms from undercooked?

Can you get WORMS from eating undercooked food like Chicken for example? Sometimes when I cook, the meat is a little undercooked and my mom won't shut the fuck up and keeps making ridiculous claims like "You will get worms'? Is this true?

Salmonella can come from undercooked chicken. Which is a hell of a lot worse than most worms, if you can't be bothered to click the link.

I heard you can get worms from undercooked pork, but not chicken. If I had to guess, I'd say you can.

I see. Well thanks I guess next time I'll have to cook it longer. Its just difficult to tell because I usually just cook the chicken until the outside is completely browned and crisp. Then when I start to eat it, I cut it open and there is little area's that are still undercooked.

You can get worms from undercooked pork, though rare, pork should always be cooked well done.

You can get salmonella from undercooked chicken. Chicken should always be cooked through, no pink.

Sometimes you can get sick from eating undercooked beef, but that's more rare which is why you are allowed to have steaks cooked to your liking.

Worms appear at random in undercooked meat. I thought this was common knowledge.
